Owning Gold
Would it not be nice to be the owner of an ounce of pure gold? Imagine being the only one in this community possessing such a precious commodity. Would you let anyone know you possessed such an item or would you keep it a secret?
Visualize yourself as the sole owner of the Bible. Would you take extra precautions to protect it, or would you tell others you have the only copy in town? Psalms 119:127 says, “I love your commandments more than gold…” Did you know the Bible you own is worth that much, but does it mean that much to you? Something that valuable does not need to go to waste. Pick it up. Read it. Apply it.
