Some Things Parents Like In A Bible Teacher

 

  • Teachers who stick to the Bible and spiritual things (Acts 20:32; 2 Timothy 4:2).
  • Teachers who apply Bible teaching by striving for character development of the highest type in the students they teach (Galatians 5:21-23). 
  • Teachers with good personality, good disposition, manners, poise, and balance which exemplifies Christian faith and character (1 Corinthians 11:1).
  • Teachers who strive for good order, courtesy, and respect on the part of the students (1 Corinthians 14:40). 
  • Teachers who expect and require good behavior in their classes (Romans 13:7)
  • Teachers who are genuine in faith and faithfully trying to live the lessons they teach (Acts 1:1; 1 Peter 2:21,22).
  • Teachers who are in the classroom by the time the first student arrives.
  • Teachers who have an interest in the student’s home and social life.
  • Teachers who are constantly searching for a better way to present the lesson.
  • Teachers who pray to God in their class with their students (James 5:16). 
  • Teachers who are prepared in heart as well as having their lesson prepared to present (Romans 1:16; Jude 3).
  • Teachers who are willing to teach without partiality, excuse, or avoiding a particular subject matter (Acts 20:27).
  • Teachers who often evaluate their teaching ability and their personal life (2 Corinthians 13:5; 2 Timothy 2:2; Hebrews 5:12-14).
